Asics Gel Lyte III Lavender/Pink/Orange
Following up on numerous collaborations, including recent efforts with Ronnie Fieg and Sneaker Freaker, Asics are to set release this lavender/pink/orange colorway of its popular Gel Lyte III model. The pastel-themed colorway features a perforated upper with hints of suede, and will be available at the end of July 2010 through select stockists. 
CUTLER & GROSS 2010 June New Releases
Headed by Graham Cutler and Tony Gross, Knightsbridge, London-based CUTLER & GROSS is known both for its originality and its flair. With over 900 styles in their archive, the eyewear specialists have produced these round specs for Spring/Summer 2010. The minimal forms are available in both black and turtle colorways and can be purchased now from Blackbird.
Kicherer – Mercedes SLS AMG Black Edition
It comes as no surprise that German tuning house Kicherer would be one of the first tuners to give the newly released Mercedes SLS AMG an overhaul. Named the SLS AMG Black Edition, it features an overall refreshed exterior with a front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, 20 inch wheels, an adjustable sports suspension, matte black exterior accents and remapped ECU matched by stainless steel performance exhaust system. All of the badges have been blacked out to add to the stealth look, and the interior have been sharply decorated in a black, silver and red color combination. DURKL Sunglasses Collection
It is hard to imagine the nation’s capital and the only state where people are taxed without representation would be any kind of fertile ground for urban culture. However, it is in the heart of Washington DC where a group of cycling and skate enthusiasts came together to create DURKL, which also gears their creation to suit their lifestyle. This summer, the label is into some shady business (no, not like that!) and has launched their first collection of sunglasses, the Main Event, and as the inscription on the inside of the arms cheekily stated, these are of “high quality” but “low standards” (so perhaps the least discriminating shades ever?).
DURKL’s first collection of sunglasses sports a generous, angular frame which is hand-crafted from acetate with steel barrel hinges and custom temple milling. The Main Event sunglasses also comes equipped with a saddle bridge for comfort, six base nylon lenses for 100% UV protection, and comes housed in a white microfiber pouch. Veering quite on the side of tough glamor and a little reminiscent of the sportier Armani shades, these are currently on sale online and at DURKL retailers worldwide. Nike SB Dunk High QS – Born In The USA July 2010
In Mid-March Sneaker News reported an upcoming color of the Nike SB Dunk High with a colorway taken off the classic American Rock album ‘Born In The U.S.A.’ by Bruce Springsteen, who is better known as ‘The Boss’ by the 40-somethings of our generation. The mix of denim, white, blue, and red takes after Springsteen’s all-American outfit consisting of a white t-shirt, jeans, and baseball cap, with the red-and-white striped ankle padding taking from the patriotic backdrop of the album artwork. Springsteen’s music takes after his experiences during life in his hometown Freehold Borough in New Jersey, and according to N-SB, New Jersey’s NJ Skateshop will release a Todd Bratrud shirt as well as an Anti-Hero skatedeck along with the shoes. Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Mister Cartoon
Mister Cartoon has designed quite a few sneakers for Nike Sportswear in recent months, but these might be the best representation of who he is as an artist. Sporting the aggressive ‘bred’ colorway, this Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Mr. Cartoon manages to mix the sophistication of a crocodile leather Swoosh with the straight-up West Coast gangsta feel provided by black kevlar on the toebox and heeltab. Gucci Icon Temporary Tokyo Exclusive Collection
Arriving in Tokyo June 12 and running until July 4, Gucci are set to open their Icon Tokyo pop-up store. Inspired by the city of Tokyo, 14 new sneaker designs will be made exclusively for release at the temporary shop. The new models continue Gucci’s Icon series of luxury streetwear and use an array of premium materials including crocodile, python, patent and suede.

FUTURA X Kaneko Optical Frames
FUTURA have collaborated with Japanese label Kaneko Optical to produce these wayfarer inspired Glasses. Founded in 1958 as a wholesaler, Kaneko are in the process of expanding its empire, having worked with several apparel brands in recent years. These high quality Celluloid frames have been hand crafted in Japan and come in two versions, namely black or tortoise-shell and are available with either smoke or clear glass. To finish each pair featured subtle co-branding and shall be available from June 10 at FL Shop.
